As of lately...

Hey Everyone!!! I know I have been such a slacker lately with my blog but sometimes life gets in the way. We were traveling so much that the last two weeks I decided to stay at home and catch my breath. Don't get me wrong, I love traveling with my husband but sometimes you just need to have some "At Home Time". So that is exactly what me and Zeyda have been doing. We have been going to Dance, School, Soccer and in our free time having FUN!!!
So let me catch you up...
Zeyda takes dance at a local studio here in town and last week they recieved their costumes for the big performance coming up. So this is Zeyda doing what is does best..

We sold our BMW and got a new car!!! We are hoping to add to our family one day and this is a great car for that.

The Weather last week was so Beautiful so we spent our evenings walking around the Golf course.

Zeyda Started her very first soccer team. It has been so much fun and I am so proud of her. In her first game she scored TWO goals. She gets it from her momma :)

My Friend Michelle and her son Maxton are on the same team as Zeyda. Me and the sisters at Zeyda's first game

As Always,

Elk Camp!

As I am sitting in the Denver airport waiting for our plane to board, I thought what better way to kill time than to tell you all about the amazing and fun experiences I had at the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation "Elk Camp" this past weekend. I had no idea what to expect because I did not go with Brandon in the past. But I can assure you, it was one of the most fun weekends I have had in a long time. Brandon is the host of the RMEF t.v show, so this organization is already dear to my family. This weekend was packed with really fun concerts and a ton of really great events to attend. Brandon was the MC for all the evening events. If you thought Brandon was only limited to the PBR you are truly wrong. He is such a wonderful speaker in so many aspects. I know I am bio est but I have not heard Many MC's that can hold a candle to him. I am so blown away by his talent on a daily bases. And if I have not said it a Million times how lucky I am to have him as my lover, best friend and Father to "our" children then I have not said it enough.
Anyway on with the fun:)

This was our cute suite!

The trade show of course was really fun, and filled with great trophy animals.

I finally got to met my new BFF in the hunting world. Kari Bergmann!!!! LOVE HER!!!

Her husband is the one and only "Jimmy BIg TIme"

Me and Kari had such a great time at all the concerts!!!

I was one lucky girl being Brandon's date. I got to go back stage and meet all these amazing Country singers. It was so much fun! They were all pretty down to earth and easy to be around. I even have a small crush On Clay Walker!!! "Don't tell Brandon"

And Last but not least I had an amazing picture with Easton Corbin and when I was zooming in I DELETED IT!! I know, I know, I Have already Cried twice!!!

It was such a fun weekend and I am so grateful that my husband has such amazing opportunities like this, and I get to tag along!!! See you next year "ELK CAMP" 2012 In Vegas BABY!!!!

Me and B at the CLUB...

The lord works in Mysterious ways!

I just wanted to share a little story that happened to us today. Last night Brandon was paying bills and we started to discuss paying our tithing. Brandon and I strive to pay our tithing each check that Brandon receives. Brandon has three jobs so as you can imagine, Ten Percent can add up pretty Quickly. When he told me the amount we were paying I have to admit, my mind began to wonder. We discussed all the bills we could pay off with the money and of course all I could think about were all the new clothes and shoes I could use the money on. "LOL Sorry it's my Guilty pleasure".
In the end we payed the tithe of course:)
Then, today Brandon received a package with out a return of address. The package included a card, Thanking Brandon for being so kind on a flight they shared back in August. The card had money in it! The package also included some really nice head phones.
The point of my story is, I feel like in a small way God was reassuring us that we were doing the right thing. That by following the Lords commandments you really do receive blessings. My life has been so blessed this past year. I am so lucky to have my husband that strives to be such a great Christian and lead our family by example.
Today is a great day and I just wanted to express my love for the Lord above and thank him for always being there for me and my family!
